I've a major issue with the app. Clicking settings, at the bottom right, the last option is Local Connection. Clicking this begins the scan for QR code of your invertor, under the top right plastic cover. Once the serial number is obtained via this code (or entering it manually) the connect button appears. The app fails to connect to the machine hotspot preventing the setup of your connection method. 3 different phones, same result. Only able to connect initially via ethernet, then it all works.

It is incredible how overrated this app is. It absolutely refuses to follow user settings on anything related to EV AC charging. If you have a schedule set for PV Surplus and you decide to switch mode to Fast Charging, the mode change won't work unless you go back and disable the schedule after changing mode. There isn't a setting to prevent drawing power from the grid, you can only do it by limiting the charging power draw/amps in the car's app.

Hopeless. apparently WiFi is an unreliable network - keeps on giving messages that says 'couldn't detect' or words to that affect. if WiFi is so bloody hopeless why do they use it? when I get on to the dialogues box a heap of lengthy instructions come up which are no help at all. you expect these things to work. who are the gibbons that design these things?
