Built by Penplusbytes in partnership with ID Sahel and financial support from OSIWA, #Shortchanged aims to create awareness about the selected policies, provide spaces for citizens to report on their experiences with each selected policy(ies).
#Shortchanged is designed to provide users with feedback in real-time on their phones.
The app is integrated with social media and mashed up with a two-way messaging service to give alerts and updates to all stakeholders on the state of the policies the project will be monitoring. Periodically, the citizens reports on each policy will be collated, validated and policy briefs will be generated to advocate for better public service delivery in health and education in Ghana and Mali.
