Sangaku Maths App is an open educational resource that offers the whole theory of mathematics from Secondary to first courses of technical degrees. An own theory, created by an interdisciplinary team, which stands for very didactic explanations and examples.

Over 1000 printed pages of math theory. The contents are organized in 9 essential branches of mathematics: algebra, geometry, recreational mathematics, calculation and analysis, applied mathematics, probability and statistics, fundamentals, discrete mathematics and number theory. Each is divided into subjects, categorized by difficulty, to help you in your learning process.

More than 500 issues, available in English, Spanish and Catalan, are what make this app a perfect resource to complement your learning.

Ratings and reviews

Great app for learning about learning the fundamentals of mathematics. However, I would suggest putting an "About Us" section, the citation and links for the sources used, and exercises or some sort of feedback mechanism to remember and make sure that the user understood the concepts. Also, it would be really great to have a dark mode for us readers in the dark.

Excellent app with clear explanations. I love to see my classes explained in different ways to understand them better. I did notice some small typos, but nothing bothersome. However, one thing that I would like to bring to your attention is that some equations don't show when holding the phone vertically. I noticed it in the "integrals along a curve" chapter. I saw that in other places (e.g.: matrices) there was a scrollbar allowing me to view the whole thing.

I needed to know how to solve ODEs for a class I am taking. Ive learned them before but had completely forgotten how solve them. I looked over several old textbooks I used for calculus, but without a professor I just couldnt figure it out what to do. As a last resort, before going to tutoring sessions, I decided to check this app out. The explanations were simple and detailed with several practice problems. Only gripe is that there were a couple tiny mistakes in the examples.
