■The World of Valkyrie Profile
Long ago—
The world where humans lived was called Midgard,
and the world where gods, fairies, and giants lived was called Asgard.
The world had long enjoyed peace, but one day, a conflict broke out between the Aesir and Vanir.
It eventually escalated into a war between the gods,
and eventually involved the human world, resulting in a long, drawn-out conflict.
■Story
By order of Odin, the chief god of Valhalla,
the beautiful Valkyries descend upon the chaotic earth of Midgard.
They are the ones who seek brave souls.
They are the ones who guide these chosen souls to the realm of the gods.
And they are the ones who will decide the outcome of the fierce war between the gods.
What will the outcome of the war between the gods be?
Will the end of the world, "Ragnarok," come?
And what will the future of the Valkyries be...?
A brutal battle for the fate of the realm of the gods is about to begin.
■Game Cycle
Become the protagonist, Renas, the Valkyrie,
sense the rhythms of the souls of those nearing death in the human world,
collect and train the heroic "Einferia" who will become divine soldiers,
and reach the ending!
1. Search for Einferia!
Use "Mental Concentration" to hear the cries of the souls of those nearing death,
and search for those with the qualities of a hero!
Events will unfold in which each character's story unfolds!
2. Raise Einferia!
Explore dungeons, defeat "soul desecrators" (monsters),
gain experience points, and raise Einferia!
3. Send Einferia to the Realm of the Gods!
Send the Einferia you've raised to the Realm of the Gods using "Remote Remnant"!
The story's ending will change depending on who you remnant to the Realm of the Gods!
Repeat steps 1 through 3 to reach the ending!
