Terrible app wish I could leave less than a star!!! I'm returning the speakers and never purchase anything that requires muzo. Every music service that I have isn't supported by this ridiculous piece of sh**. I pay for those services, I'm not going to purchase another just to use these speakers. Getting something else. Oh and connecting was fine after I factory reset it. After that it might as well be a paperweight!

This is a great app if you are technically competent. There are several reviews that complain about the difficulty and the WiFi connection. This is not a Bluetooth replacement app. Its connection is more difficult to set up but the clarity of the sound is far superior to that of Bluetooth. Plus the speaker is not dependent on a secondary device streaming it music. It pulls the music straight from the internet or a NAS. Several manufactures utilize the Muzo app as a interface for their hardware. This is convenient because it gives you options when planning a whole house system. I have a pair of Pyle outdoor speakers, a couple indoor ceiling mounted speakers, and a portable battery powered WiFi speaker. The app allows all the speakers to play the same thing. This is great for all sorts of reasons. A feat that cannot be accomplished with Bluetooth speakers. Bottom line the app works great if you know what you are doing. It is not a Bluetooth replacement, hence why these WiFi speakers have Bluetooth capabilities. Each application has its place.. It helps if you educated yourself beforehand so your expectations of how the system works will be realistic.

The old Muzo Player app is no longer available, so this Legacy app is a work-around. It lets you connect your home wi-fi signal to a streaming wireless speaker like the Blaupunkt model BP1669. These speakers have no built-in digital screen like a wireless printer has so that it can recognize your wi-fi network by name. It has no Bluetooth capability either. Although it's Alexa-enabled, you can't control it or set it up with the Alexa app. The Legacy Player app instructions are confusing because different brands and models of streaming speakers have different ways that they connect. You have to take your time, play around with it, try various creative approaches. Don't rely strictly on the directions. Eventually, almost as if by accident, your streaming speaker will say "speaker is connected to wi-fi" And then you've got Alexa back online, which is great!
