This is pretty awesome, it's certainly better than depending on network access/speed! Upgraded! The "..." drop doesn't hook if you don't use the standard keyboard. eg, I'm using SwiftKey. If an app forces it's own keyboard then you're good! So, my interface with the app is through the 'clippy for lookup' notification. Could this become a single click to the search input? As it is, it's the first of six steps to get to a word definition. 😎

Coming from being an apple fanboy, even though I still use Apple computers I've been an avid Android user since the Samsung Galaxy S4. Soon after that, I got a Note 3 and have been using the latest Note ever since. Said all that to say that I'm used to being able to highlight text and search for the meaning of a word as I read from OX S & Mac OS. This app lets me do the same thing on Android, very conveniently as an overlay, without ever leaving or shifting away from what you're doing. Definitely a must-have for readers and productivity enthusiasts.

As soon as I saw how effective the free version was, I immediately bought the paid version. I love the minimalist aesthetic, the AMOLED option, the many plugins (including Urban Dictionary!), and the fact that it so quickly & simply makes itself available. Even pitting it against other similar apps, Look Up stands out. This is an app I know I'll make a point to install on every device I own. Well done, dev! 👏👑
