The Restoration Edition text represents thousands of hours of careful work by a committee of volunteers. Their purpose is to compile the most accurate and complete set of scriptures based on the restoration of the gospel of Jesus Christ that began in the early 1800's through Joseph Smith, Jr.

The committee responsible for this compilation of scriptures, and the developer of this app, have done this work as an expression of faith in Jesus Christ, and not as representing any church or organization. This app is to serve the various fellowships of Covenant Christians and all those seeking the welfare of Zion.

For a first edition its great. once the scriptures get finalized it will have the lastest files. Glad to finally have the Joseph Smith translation of the bible at your fingertips. Update: Many must have features have been added to latest version. The finalized texts have been added outside a few revelations voted on 4/21/19 to be added. And got some bonus content with podcast transcripts being added.

I really like the bookmark function, it allows me to tag and annotate paragraphs. It encourages me to distill a paragraph into a simple phrase and reference I can remember. This is a great resource for all who want to truly "hear His voice"

I like the new layout and other functions, but there doesn't seem to be a bookmarks option/tab anymore, at least not that I can easily find. I had quite a few bookmarks in the old version; are they gone now? Other than that, great improvements in features!
