About this app

'Tizuzaf' is an interactive multilingual book (Amazigh, Arabic, French) produced by the Royal Institute of Amazigh Culture (IRCAM). It is an application to support learning to read the Amazigh language in Tifinagh and a way to introduce Amazigh cultural heritage.

Tizuzaf presents the basic techniques of jewelry and related processes as well as the types of jewelery in the region of Tiznit, relying on shimmering illustrations on each page.

It offers two reading modes: sequential page access and selective access by theme and then by page. It has a dictionary that gives the possibility to touch a word to see its explanation in the form of equivalents in the other languages supported by the application. It is narrated by native speakers and provides a reading with highlighted words read to the rhythm of reading. In addition, it offers the opportunity to re-listen to the pronunciation of a word by touching it to anchor its learning.
