I've used Zedge for an unknown amount of years at this point. Tonight I'm looking for an app to replace it. It used to be chill and simple. Now it's flooded with ADs and AI. I swap my alarms every 6-months or so, and just looking for one alarm I like takes 10mins as you dip around unskippable ads and x out of AI wallpapers shoved in your face. That's not what I need the app for. 10mins used to be all I needed to find the 8 or so alarms I wanted to use (I'mma heavy sleeper lol). Do better. Cya.

Zedge fell from grace 📉 It used to be such a great app, but not anymore. I've been using Zedge for around 10 years, and now it's a hot mess. Riddled with ads and a serious lack of new content due to extremely harsh upload policies. You're better off manually downloading mp3 files to trim for your own custome ringtones at this point.

The app does not function without internet, which is a problem because the app was designed to get you to tap on an ad by accident. When you tap on a sound or wallpaper to download it, going back to the previous screen plays an ad. The UI will randomly jut upwards or downwards to get you to tap on something you don't want accidentally to get you to go back and watch an ad. A random ad will also pop up as you try to tap something. This app seriously got worse over the years. Do not recommend.
