About this app

Digipost is your digital mailbox for information that is important to you. A lot of mail contains sensitive information that cannot be sent to you by regular e-mail. With Digipost, you can safely receive important information from both public and private senders.

All documents you store in Digipost are your personal property. Digipost does not have access to your mailbox, and can not share your content with anyone else.

Documents you receive or upload yourself will be stored in your personal archive. With the app, you always have it securely stored and easily accessible.

Digipost is a service from Posten Norge AS. All persons over 15 years of age with a Norwegian social security number or D-number can create a user. The service is free.

Ratings and reviews

Downloads documents with Norwegian characters in the filename with invalid characters instead. PDF viewers on mobile are then unable to open these files, which makes the mobile app useless. Also, if this app doesn't send notifications, then there is no point in having it, or having a DigiPost account in the first place. You might as well use AltInn.

not easy to download files.

Horrible user experience. When I enter the app and click on a letter I've received I have to enter my phone login code, then if it's higher security I have to log in with bankID, then the letter itself just says I got a letter from the kommune and the actual letter is an attachment, which requires me to log into bankID AGAIN to view/download, but then once it's downloaded, the phone says it's formatted incorrectly and can't read it. Won't read the file on the computer either. Worse than useless!
