Ratings and reviews

For free, its a valuable tool. It not just scans but educates the user as to what it finds or asks to adjust. It does do a fair amount of advertising to buy its premium products, however. that's why the 4 and not 5 star rating. I mean a lot of advertising. if you install this free version just remember to update its database. It won't do that on its own for free.

I was just trying out the app with the free trial which I thought was 30 days but turned out to only be 1 week. It then charged me for the year and I really didn't intend to purchase. Who does that? As of 9/2/26 the app won't update. The app seems to work ok but seems to give me false negatives which may be due to running along side with my separate VPN. I'll be cancelling at the end of period.

Good app, very effective, but could REALLY use one tweak. I've had zero trouble with this app, zero viruses/malware/etc.l since the first issue that made me download it. I pay the $20/yr for automated scanning and whatnot, which I find a reasonable price. The one thing y'all NEED to get together is the text scanning. I get scam text alerts for damn near every single bank/amazon/credit card/whatever automated text. It's incredibly annoying and there really needs to be a safe list function added.

What’s new

This update contains bug fixes and performance improvements. We know. Everyone says that. But we actually did it - the app is faster, a few annoying things are gone, and one bug that had been living rent-free in our backlog has finally been evicted. Thanks for keeping us around.
