About this app

TouchMix-30 Control is an app for Android smart-phone and tablet devices running Android OS version 11, 12, or 13. It provides wireless control of QSC TouchMix-30 Pro digital sound reinforcement mixers. Visit http://www.qsc.com for more information. The app is not intended to perform any audio mixing or processing tasks on its own.

When run on a tablet device, the TouchMix Control app closely follows the operational paradigm of the mixer. The tablet and the mixer GUI operate independently so it is possible for the tablet to act as an additional user interface that can display and control a set of functions completely different from those being controlled by the mixer’s screen and hardware. An alternate operation mode – Follow Mixer – is also available. With Follow Mixer engaged, the tablet follows the fader selection on the mixer. Touch a fader on the mixer and the tablet will display that channel’s Overview, EQ, Compressor, Sends or Gate screen. Touch a parameter on the tablet and the mixer’s rotary control will adjust it – or just drag on the tablet screen. When used without an actual TouchMix, the app acts as a demonstration of the mixer GUI and functionality but does not control audio in any way.

On a smart-phone, the TouchMix Control app functions as a personal stage monitor mix control with the option to also remotely operate the mixer’s record and playback features as well as programmable user buttons. The mixer operator may allow or restrict access to selected functions on a per-device basis.

Requirements
- Android device running Android OS 11, 12, or 13
- QSC TouchMix-30 Pro with version 1.2 or higher firmware installed.
- QSC TouchMix-30 Pro connected to a Wi-Fi network (recommended). Visit http://www.qsc.com for more details on Wi-Fi connections.
- Note that controlling a mixer with multiple devices running different versions of the app is not recommended.

Ratings and reviews

The app works better on an iPad than any other device. It works very well. The problem I've had (have really), is that when the QSC software updates, I do it manually rather than automatically, is that the iPad screen changes, even loses things. I have to reconfigure the display. Add buttons back, reapply scenes, etc. Customer service told me that, "It happens." Let me add that this is the only problem customer service could not help me with. I have nearly $60K of QSC equipment in two churches.

I like the app, but I'm NOT enjoying it very much right now!!! I had it on my Computer/Tablet before... It downloaded perfectly. But it wasn't responding, so I uninstalled it and tried to Re-Install it thru the QSC App... Now all I have is the Software Folder. I went to the site to try to Re-Install it , but IT was saying that it's already installed!!! I am having a really hard time trying to get it working with my Touch Mix 30 right now and am getting very frustrated by such!!!

Installed fine but having problems after connection to the mixer the app only displays duplicate channel 1 in all the 1-8 channels and wont let you go in in any channels after that only to channels 25-30, and all the other sub groups and auxes etc. Not able to do what it suppose to do. Even on my ipad and iphone are displaying the same. Can someone help us with this issue? I have heard great things about this app, but right now it's unusable.
