Founded in December 2020 as ā€œMap for Radio Amateursā€, MapForHam was designed to provide simple and immediate access to information and tools dedicated to the world of radio communications.

The global interactive map allows users to browse information about radio links, repeaters and many other resources available around the world.

Information is available for various technologies and services, including:

• Analog
• DMR
• C4FM
• D-STAR
• EchoLink
• Beacons
• Amateur radio links and repeaters
• And much more

šŸš€ MFH is more than just a map.

The platform offers a range of services and tools dedicated to the world of radio, including amateur radio events, QSOs, Logbook, eQSL, Awards, information about radio links and repeaters, and many other features that are continuously evolving.

MFH was created with the goal of bringing together radio amateurs and enthusiasts from every association, club and country.

User collaboration is an integral part of the project. Information can be collected automatically from available sources or manually entered and updated by the community.

Thanks to everyone's contribution, MFH can keep its content dynamic, useful and increasingly comprehensive.

I couldn't figure out how to filter repeaters based on the band. The only repeaters it did show in my area were listed as offline, and repeaterbook shows online ones. It automatically puts you into the Italian version on start. It would be nice if we could pick the language on the first start. Scrolling in the drop-down on the right of the map is non-existent. You have to make sure you minimize other fields so you can see the entirety of the field you're interested in. UI needs work.

Thanks for the feedback. Band filtering isn't available yet but is planned. Repeater data comes from RepeaterBook, so differences may depend on the source. Language can be set in user preferences after login. Bug reports and suggestions can be sent via the dashboard.

I love the idea of this app, but I experienced the whole thing lagging out, and I was unable to do much, I don't even know if it would have shown me data in the U.S, might try it on another device, I would like to see this app grow, could be. Useful tool, might could add scanner frequencies to it as well, maybe link it with radio reference? Anyhow app looked good,I sadly couldn't use it,but want to.. āœŒļø

Hi R, thanks for trying the app! You can also use the platform from your browser at www.mapforham.com. Registration is not required, and you can freely explore the icons on the map. On the main map, use the menu at the top right to select the available layers. For any questions, feel free to contact us at iu1fig@mapforham.com

Only Italy Edit, I changed my rating after being contacted by the developer. There are some downsides. For example: Outside Italy no analog repeaters are shown. Since this project is mostly crowd sorced this is understandable. It could become a most go tool if more data is available and if the data would be stored in the phone, so one can access information from remote areas
