Ratings and reviews

App often closes mid stream for no apparent reason. Does not pair well with Bluetooth earphones, and about every other book I listen to, it will start the book from the beginning. App closes down after only 30 or so seconds of inactivity, so if I have to pause (through my headphones) If I don't immediately press play, it will shut the app down. Selection is decent, and love that it's all free with my library card... just has some bugs to work out.

I love that my library connects to Hoopla and that I can download books, audiobooks, even movies on demand. 5 stars for that. Hoopla as an app is buggy. More than once, when I've prepared for a trip by downloading my book ahead of time, Hoopla says, NOT TODAY, and makes it impossible to read my book. Super frustrating. Sometimes it just starts an audiobook from the beginning, and loses the position I was at - not easy to get back to the same spot. 3 stars for the app itself.

Love the concept but the app is awful. The widget does not work at all. I can't pause or play from the widget. When the app shows up in my drop-down shade, I might be able to control the play from there but it often disappears. I cannot stop and restart using my Bluetooth ear piece. So then I have to open the app just to restart my play. Also we get a choice of two widgets and they are very cumbersome, need a simple player. My friends with iPhones don't have these problems.
