Love this app!! A++. Highly recommend for anyone looking to access their library's digital content. A lot of their UI updates (since my review in 2020) have made the app much more aesthetically pleasing without hurting its ease of use. Works much better now too (glitches/bugs extremely rare). Grateful that a lot of the controls and visuals have different options to choose from. Tags feature is great. Notifications are also customizable and actually accurate to what I care about. It's great!

Great improvement over Overdrive! Has a weird issue telling me that I've listened to the audiobook on a different device, and would I want to synchronize, despite the fact that I have it installed on only one device... Sometimes will not resume playing through Bluetooth after a pause. All in all, minor issues. 2025-02-05: recently Libby stopped displaying the contents of my shelf or bookmarks while playing via Android Auto - instead it displays a red warning triangle (similar to ⚠️)

EDIT 2024: Some updates to this app over the last couple years have been terrible. Click on a book to listen to, please wait, app is updating. Click play, it plays, but the time tracker doesn't follow time. Click on sleep timer, you may lose it and it just keeps on going. Some times it's 3-5 min of buffering before it's ready to play. Playback fails a lot! I want to love it. I love the idea, access to my public library books. Please clean it up!
