I would rather keep Overdrive app. Libby is good for searching & borrowing. it's easier to send Ebooks to my kindle. But I have a lot of issues when it comes to audio books. Sometimes it skips around the book, I have even had it switch from one book to another book that I had already listened to and returned. I have even had the audio stop and never be able to get the book playing again. Right now I can't even get the control options to pop up to start, stop or change playback speed.

I didn't like Libby when it first came out and I resent that it's "overtaking" Overdrive. It is NOT user friendly, and definitely not intuitive. I can't get books on the wish list to sync not download. I've gone thru instructions over and over with little success. Overtime was very easy to use. I'll likely end up sweating to my other library to access books as their app is much easier to use. Disappointed that this change over isn't better!!!

Being able to find out if books are available in other libraries you have cards for is great, and listening works well. I mainly use audiobooks. You can't recommend books and there are no ratings to find out if a book is a dud. Not sure if you can search by genre. I live off the beaten path so streaming isn't really an option for me. Overdrive has been very good to me. I wish you could keep both since they are linked. Or bring the features together in one app. Libby took a while to figure out.
