I love the app, BUT... Everytime I update (which it forces you to do) I lose all my information and must dig up my card to log in, and download my books again. I'm not happy about that as I don't always have a phone signal or access to wifi. Such a shame. I just updated, but am traveling without my library card. So there goes my reading plans. UGH
Very promising. I love getting ebooks through my library and this app provides a responsive interface to reserve and checkout books. A minor annoyance I have so far is that it isn't easy to check my progress on my holds when they're plainly visible on the website.
This app looks decent enough for reading on my phone but I can't find "eligible formats" to send books to Kindle which is what I want the app to do. I use the London Libraries Consortium.
I download books from 3 library cards(my 2 kids & I)so it's hard to keep track of expiration dates. This app helps keep them in order & automatically downloads. On the other hand I can't get rid of Overdrive because I still need it to look for books. I still have problems using/transferring libraries in Libbys.
Automatically, the free library books give this app five stars. One star taken away for not syncing wishlists or books from the overdrive website. Minus one star for lame homepage selection. All in all, a great app.
Huge UI improvement on overdrive, very easy to use but still pretty buggy. For instance, I cannot load a library card -- I get the infinite loading icon of death -- which means I can't borrow books, which means I can't use the app as intended.
