EFXMobile is an OTG remote control and device management APP for NUX effect pedals, like AMP ACADEMY.

Connect to NUX pedals via USB-C with lightning to USB adaptor to access parameter control and engage some functions.

Made for iPhone on iOS version >= 10.0

The amp modelleling is great. The application is a disaster. Had it running on an Android phone then it stopped connecting. Tried every permutation of turning it on and off with every imagionable connection option. Nada. Uninstalled/reinstalled many times. Once the software appeared then quickly disappeared and im stuck with an error message that I need to connect. Please, hire some competent programmers.

I was really hoping this would work. I have used OTG with several other devices, this won't even connect. The app also seems half cooked. The opening screen alone that is supposed to read "Connect Device" is misspelled. It reads "Connet Device." This shows not a lot of care was put into development of this app. I love my amp academy pedal but I was hoping I could edit presets from my phone instead of having to use a PC. So this is really disappointing. I will probably sell the Amp Academy soon.

The App or the Pedal??? It is super handy to not have to get my laptop out to tweak the settings, but there appears to be issues with "dragging the effects" to change the order... however this could be a problem with my Amp Academy. Either way, it feels like there are a few little glitches that could be sorted, but not enough that I can't work around.... Cos the pedal is a Godsend - for the money 👍🏾.
