Important permissions required by the app:

VpnService (BIND_VPN_SERVICE): This app uses VpnService in order to provide a more accurate content blocking experience. This permission is required in order to block adult website domains & enforce safe search on search engines at the network.
However, this is an optional feature. Only if the user turns on "block across browsers (VPN)" - VpnService will be activated.

Accessibility services: This app uses the accessibility service permission (BIND_ACCESSIBILITY_SERVICE) to block adult content websites.

System alert window: This app uses the system alert window permission (SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW) to show a block window over adult content.

It worked well until they implemented a paywall limiting the total number of blocks to 5 per day for the fee version. For those users struggling with the issues the app claims to address, the basic functionality it provides must be completely free if the company chooses to offer a free version. Additional functionality like add a buddy are fine for the paid version, but please at least give us unlimited basic functionality.

Do not get this app. They mention that you can utilize a "free trial" for 3 days but then will prevent you from cancelling the membership until you get charged. Even after I contacted them, they did not do anything. It's a big scam and not worth it, please save yourself the money!!

I bypassed the blockedlist . When it gets fixed i will rate it 5 stars. Here are the things i found : -Adding a hashtag (#) at the end of URLs then following it with a whitelisted(keyword or site) , this will bypass any blockedlisted URL since hashtag doesn't affect the link. -most browsers hide URL when a person scrolls down, which make Blockerx ineffective, except from firefox, but i also have issue with firefox because the redirect link opens in another tab.. i will continue in another review
