Kryss is the new, highly addictive game that lets two players test each other's imagination and vocabulary.

The turn-based game is developed from the idea of transforming the traditional crossword solution - old school Scandinavian style - into a game where you compete against each other in the same crossword puzzle.

You receive five letters each turn, then strive to place the letters in the crossword within a minute. There are several ways of outscoring your opponent, including a significant bonuses for completing words, for getting key letters right or for using all your five letters within a round.

Then again: it might just pay off to keep one of the crucial letters for later use – when the stakes are higher.

Kryss has the element of randomly awarded letters in common with other classic word games.

But Kryss is faster, and it offers a logic and gaming experience which makes it feel like no other passtime you ever engaged in. It is pure yoga for the brain, meditation for the mind, and vocabulary training in a game.

And with the chat function you can keep in touch with your favorite aunt at the same time as teasing your best friend for being the slowest player in the known Universe.

I play this game with my mother to help with her memory. She beats me a lot!! Lol!! I would have given it 5 stars but sometimes when you are playing it will jump to something that has absolutely nothing to do with the game?? You have to hit your phones back button to get back to your game. Very strange!! Very aggravating when you are dealing with a countdown timer. Other than that we both enjoying playing Kryss.

Don't! I really do hate changing my rating. They are so eager to sell their new premium pay by the month program that Well, I was sick and not able to play for months. I reopened the app only to find that they had cleared all the boards that I had. I paid money, cash, For those boards. I had originally paid to skip the commercials to support the developers and have bought things on and off for the same reason. But that was it for me. It was still installed on my phone. I am signed in.

I love this game, but I wish there were fewer ads. I enjoy the 3 free game boards daily, but I usually use my points to get additional boards. I'd really like to connect with live players, but there's always a disconnect for me. Either the opponent takes too long, and I receive a message to wait my turn. Or, the game bugs out. So I mostly play against bots. Sometimes, the picture clues are tricky, but overall, this is a great game!
