You can play Chess with friends or family, offline via bluetooth. You all just need to install Bluetooth Chess, click Multiplayer, and choose a username. Next, someone creates a group and someone else join the group. If you chose to join a group, you would see the name of the Group-Owner on your screen. You can tap on that name and connect to the Group-Owner automatically through bluetooth. When someone is connected, Group-Owner can start the game.
You can also play Chess, single-player, with CPU. There are three difficulty levels to choose from: Easy, Medium, and Hard. The difficulty of Hard can be both addictive, and helping you improve. It is always a good idea to develop your skills on your own (with CPU), and use them while playing multiplayer with your friends and family!
The chess engine used in the Bluetooth Chess is called BOMG-Stockfish9. This chess engine is a converted version of Stockfish9 (under license GPL3) from C++ into Java.
