I've used Ecosia for years, but this recent update has me ready to delete it and move on. Not only is AI chat counter to Ecosia's stated mission (excessive energy/water consumption), it's addition to the search bar completely overrides the Image and Video features. They aren't under the More option, and when I clicked on Maps to try to find them, that didn't work either. The ONLY way I've found to access Image and Video search is to click the AI Chat, which miraculously adds these features back.

Great browser alternative, with load times fast as any competition. Have had issues with image results in the past being zoomed in for no reason, but opening image in separate tab seemed to resolve that, and some bugs when they switched up how the tree count looks, which reset my search counter and is still broken, but that isn't a necessary feature so I won't complain. Recent issue of not being able to access image search, so Ill have to lower rating until that's fixed.

I actually love this app. I love being able to group like tabs in one area. One for shopping, one for news articles etc. the reason for the 3 stars is I pinned my fitness application from the ecosia browser to my home screen. While trying to remove it I accidentally deleted the whole app. I lost all of my bookmarks(46) and every single one of the tabs I had open(about 74). I am really upset and its highly unlikely I'm gonna use the app again.
