Highmark Blue Shield $pending Account app makes managing your spending accounts on-the-go easier than ever by providing a single access point for you to manage your spending account information.

The app is intended for members of Highmark Inc. d/b/a Highmark Blue Shield and certain of its affiliated Blue companies serving Blue Shield members in 21 counties in central Pennsylvania and 13 counties in Northeastern New York. As a partner in joint operating agreements, Highmark Blue Shield also provides services in conjunction with a separate health plan in southeastern Pennsylvania. Highmark Inc. or certain of its affiliated Blue companies also serve Blue Cross Blue Shield members in 29 counties in western Pennsylvania, 13 counties in northeastern Pennsylvania, the state of West Virginia plus Washington County, Ohio, and the state of Delaware and 8 counties in Western New York. This information is issued on behalf of Highmark Blue Shield and its affiliated Blue companies, which are independent licensees of the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association.

The app logs me out when I look for a receipt to post in my history. When I am trying to find a certain transaction, I can't just go back to the list if I clicked the wrong one, it takes me back 2-3 steps that I have to repeat until I find the correct one. I get transferred at least twice when I call the number on the back of the card. It is nice that I could spend the yearly amount before the end of the year for my kid's braces, but couldn't attach the receipt for about a month.

Entirely way too complicated to login to my account, and after finally managing to set up my account the app constantly force closes. Complete waste of time.

Registration took 2 days cause it refused my email address. After it finally accepted my email address and I logged out it wouldnt let me log in after 10 days. I called to complain here my account was locked. They put a "ticket" in to unlock my account. That took another 2 days which I called again cause I got an email saying my password was changed but they never told me what it is so I can change it. Which you have to call in to change cause you cant change it on the app. I'm still waiting!!!
