Classic Words Solo is a well designed, enjoyable game. The difficulty levels cover a broad range of choices. I enjoy learning new words, so I appreciate the immediate display of the word's definition. Best of all, I am neither forced nor pestered to play against other people. (I'm a slow player, so I like the computer's patience with me 😁.) This app's only negative is the ads. Playing used to be ad free. On the upside, they never interrupt a game; they're only between games. Definitely try it!

New: Changing my review back to 5 stars. I had an issue with an ad, contacted the developer, and he was fantastic to with. He emailed me as if I were a real person. Definitely not an automated response. Love this app! Old: Great app, great game. I'm sure it's good for my brain, too! And now, a couple years after downloading for the first time, I enjoy it as much as ever. I never have any trouble with it. Great app, never freezes, ads are not invasive at all. No complaints whatsoever.

I've played this game for years now, best one-player word game! The AI is really challenging on extremely hard mode, so when I do win, I know I've earned it! The ads are minimal and no annoying features that pressure you to pay money to progress in the game. Thanks for many hours of enjoyment!
