About this app

Moto Camera Tuner 5 provides camera tuning updates to improve colour, contrast, picture noise, video noise, and sharpness. It is not a standalone app and has no UI. Rather, it applies these improvements to the camera hardware so that any app that uses the camera will be improved.

Moto Camera Tuner 5 is posted as a Play Store app so that you don't have to download a full phone system build in order to access these updated updates.

Low light images are good and OIS is very impressive. However the daylight pics are bad (surprisingly). It is overprocessing images, and and many pictures turn out to be very artificial looking. Sometimes People come out looking pale & flat, greens are unnaturally fluorescent and eye-hurting. Sent them email with images attached and got the response asking to send pics. Apparently they are not even checking but just have bots responding.

I ran out of arm length trying focus my eyes to read the Sunday paper a few years ago. I often forget while focusing for a picture that my vision doesn't let me know what the camera is seeing. Since I focus it wrong, when I look at the picture with the same reading glasses use for everything else, I can't focus... It a very unsettling experience.

The front selfie camera of my Motorola G82 5G is quite decent but the problem is, even after having a 50+8+2 megapixel rear camera setup with OIS function in it, the performance is really very poor. The daytime shots or clicks are good but night-time or low-light photography is pathetic. There is a heavy loss of details in the clicked pictures and there is presence of too much digital noise, which makes the results even worse❗
