Yokai Dungeon is an action game which uses cultural aesthetics. The traditional Japanese environment / music is appealing, but not relevant to the action. Yokai look and act somewhat unique, but are defeated the same: pushing blocks to squish them. Still, the action can be intense. Characters have one chance to pass the dungeons and beat the final boss. Something cool are the multiple characters with various stats, unlocked using coins found in dungeons. As a whole, it looks fun and simple. 5/5.

Reminds me a bit of Lost Yeti. Another great game by neutronized. Very arcade forward and a good bit of interesting challenge and scenarios. The one concern I have personally as a player is the hurry up. I'm a slower mover in games so this plagues me quite a bit in Yokai Dungeon. Is there any way to remedy this with some sort of delay. I'd be willing to pay at this point. lol Overall though, killer game

extremely great game! i just have a few teensy issues. one, please give us more time after bossfights to collect coins, im never able to even grab half. second, on the dungeon after the ice one, i got softlocked as when i killed all the enemies, the door remained locked and i was stuck. one last thing, im super surprised there isn't a "mustamon" type character which you can only get by beating the game with everyone else, although i guess it would be a pain to get judging by how many characters
