This app always locks up my phone. Very annoying and frustrating. Like the news, hate the app, unfortunately. Currently, I can't even open the app without this mandatory update to my personal cell phone - no choice except to get completely rid of Bakersfield Now and use another service. This one is the worst, for sure. I don't recommend it . I tried to load this app, it was loading for over 35 minutes ... I gave up and removed it.

Used to be good. It never pushes notifications on new device. Often has errors when trying to look at news. It shows old news or the page is blank. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Videos don't load without ads and ads take too long to load. It's not a server issue I have high speed WiFi.

Sometimes you just don't have the time to watch the news. The BakersfieldNow app sends links to my phone of local news stories. Quick news on the go.
