Ratings and reviews

One reason to choose ibi is to store photos in the local, instead of cloud. Many of our photos were uploaded onto Google Photo, not the Google Drive. Unfortunately, there is only download from Google drive available, not the Google Photo. Can ibi fix this issue? What a waste! Just a little more than three years, WD will stop support the app. The instructions for future local access doesn't work either.

So now you cant do anything after the no support date ! I loved this because, Im on fixed income , and have to save up to purchase ! Now I am having trouble trying to get my photos off the device ! Very upset ! No more products from Western Digital for me ! They should have a local spot now to help save your photos !!! Free of charge !

Update: Well...WD is shutting down ibi remote access by the end of August 2024. Now I have to throw two perfectly functioning ibis in the trash because of designed obsoleteness. Only had them for 3 years. No discount or recycling option given to upgrade device. It would cost them almost nothing to keep this functioning as it uses the same app as my cloud home. I guess I will be moving to Synology because at least they support their products long term.
