I've been using this app for years, now deleting. As long as I can remember it always had ads towards the bottom. I get it they want to make some money, that's reasonable! Then recently I open the app&full screen ad covering the whole thing. Click on a timer to pop it up, another full screen ad. Very disruptive cuz I use this to time messages I deliver and I cannot have massive full page ads popping up while trying to start. Not paying a weekly subscription to remove ads. One time fee, maybe.

New redesign completely ruined this already ailing app. I used to rely on it all the time. For the last year or so, any changes I made to settings were lost on next launch. I had to start completely over every time I launched the app. Then, last month, it just quit. I was using it to time a speech and looked down at one point and the timer was just gone. Now, they've resigned the app. When I open it, it's nothing but a white screen with a couple of check boxes. No dark mode? White on white...

Was great, untill the last update. Now the timer shuts off after a couple of minutes. I think that my phone may be shutting it off to conserve battery and ram, I have a moto g5 plus running Android 8.1.0 and it seems fairly aggressive about that, but the last version of the app would run for hours with no problems. So something has changed in the new version of app that triggers that behavior if that is the case.
