1. Complaint here
- You can fax five types of certificates, including certification of qualifications and insurance premium payment, to the submitting institution.
- You can use services such as insurance premium inquiry/payment, refund inquiry/application, and view treatment details.

2. Health iN
- You can check information such as health checkup, treatment, and medication history of you and your family (infants and children).
- You can predict your health age and risk of disease based on the results of your health checkup.
- With the national health alarm service, you can determine the regional risk of major diseases (8 types) in advance.
- You can manage your health consistently by directly recording blood pressure, blood sugar, etc. or linking with devices.

3. Long-term care insurance
- You can use a variety of long-term care civil service services, such as applying for long-term care recognition, rating results, and checking home benefit service usage history.

4. Customer Center
- To resolve inquiries and inconveniences, you can use the post consultation service, chat consultation, and sign language consultation services for the hearing and speech impaired.
- In order to create a people-centered corporation, we are operating a public proposal and public discussion room.
- You can report/suggest for efficient budget management and savings of National Health Insurance and report medical institutions and long-term care institutions that have charged unfairly.

5. Other
- You can log in and use 8 different authentication methods, including communal, financial, private, and health insurance certificates.
- You can set health alarm information as a widget that informs you of the risk of major diseases and regions.
- You can use the quick action function to go directly to the certificate issuance screen.

Even if you do not agree, you can use the health insurance app service, but use of some services may be restricted.
- Microphone: Used for sign language counseling and voice search.
- Physical activity: Used to measure numbers such as number of steps or distance in the background using a mobile phone sensor.
- Location: Used when searching for nearby information, such as finding a hospital or branch.
- Camera: Used to connect to sign language counseling.
- Others: Bluetooth (blood pressure, blood sugar, step count registration), vibration, etc.

When using a smartphone with Android version 6.0 or lower, there is a problem in which the user cannot selectively consent to the optional access rights of The Health Insurance mobile app (consent is considered upon installation). Therefore, if possible, the user cannot consent to the optional access rights of the health insurance mobile app. It is recommended that you upgrade your smartphone operating system to Android 6.0 or higher using the software update function. Additionally, even if the operating system is upgraded, the access permissions agreed to in existing apps do not change, so to reset access permissions, you must delete and reinstall the already installed app.

Ratings and reviews

This is the most difficult app I've ever tired to use. I want to view my bill and pay it online. There's no reason why it should be so hatd to do a simple task. That's the only reason someone would want an app for insurance. Especially since foreigners can't use any of the other things on this app. The layout of this app is ridiculous and overly complicated. The English call line keeps you waiting for hours and still offers little help for future issues. I have to call every month to pay my bill

Is ok that the app isn't in english and I agree we should adapt. But at least let us take screenshot so we can use external translator. Really, a person can use another phone to take picture of the app, so the security measure of not letting taking screenshot makes no sense.

This app has great features for Korean speakers. However, as a foreign resident I have noticed that my entire health history and treatment hasn't been recorded on the NHIS system. I can only see my previous employers, and proof of my enrollment.
