Swimming in open water, where you can swim and it is clean and safe? This app has a list of more than 800 outdoor swimming spots in the Netherlands.

This bathing app gives you information about the quality and safety of official outdoor swimming spots during the bathing season (May 1 to October 1). In this app, all data on water boards, provinces and Rijkswaterstaat gathered in one place. So you always have the most current information. Through the bathing water map of the easy search function you can immediately check the quality and safety of bathing water in your area. In addition, you can immediately see which services are available at this location.

Disclaimer
During the bathing season, the quality and the safety of the water checked for official bathing water spots. You can see in the app when the check is carried out and when the next check. On the basis of these checks a notification issued an opinion whether or not to go swimming. You may then decide whether you are there or not swim unless an injunction is issued. If you do decide to go swimming despite a warning or advice against bathing take a greater risk of health problems. It is always wise to shower after swimming in natural water. Outside the bathing season, the bathing water is not examined.
