The idea of this remote for Impress is a great idea and it sort of work. The lag between telling it to change screens and actually seeing a change is very long. But, the biggest problem is readability. The screen icon are just too small to be useful. I can't tell what slide it actually is and I have to guess. Yes, most of my slides have the same general screen layout and only a few texts are changed. Make the screen icons adjustable for a larger size and this would be very handy.

EDIT: Settings were moved to Slide Show -> Slide Show Settings in newer versions of Libreoffice. It's a little buggy, but works. It seems to take a while for slides other than the first one to load/update over Bluetooth. Wifi seems to work better. I think this might be a limitation of Bluetooth though, not the app.

The feature is still available. The checkbox to enable it from within Impress has been moved to "Slide Show" -> "Slide Show Settings", Section "Remote control". It's just the documentation hasn't been updated yet, which is tracked in this bug report: https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=160382

It works, after a few steps. The instructions could be better. I'm using Libre Office 7.0.0.3 x64 on my Windows 8.1 PC. The wifi connection does work and it auto detects my computer name. There are two separate settings you have to change in the Libre Office menus. It didn't work until I restarted Libre Office and then Windows asked me if I wanted to allow the program thru the firewall. After confirming that I was asked to input a 4 digit pin code into Libre Office. I have both control and image
