Privacy Friendly Ruler can display a ruler or protractor at the edge of the display. This enables on the fly measurements with the smartphone. What makes Privacy Friendly Ruler different from other similar apps?

1. No permissions
Privacy Friendly Ruler does not require any permissions.

Many other free apps in the Google Play Store dazzle annoying advertising and also shortens battery life.

Samsung S9... initial ruler was relatively precise... about 1mm difference on 10cm. Calibration made it terribly wrong. 1.1cm difference on 11cm. Since it's nothing else but a ruler I deinstalled it again.

I don't know what everyone's so happy about with this app. It doesn't do anything. It just displays a little ruler picture on screen. Nothing else.

You can use the calibration with a ruler to get this pretty exact. In my case .756 was the magic number.
