About this app

This application is a BusyBox installer for Android. Includes BusyBox v1.34.1 with 378 applets, the most comprehensive set of functions. Supports installation BusyBox from the application and via recovery from ZIP archive (see "Menu - Zip archive").

BusyBox combines tiny versions of many common UNIX utilities into a single small executable. It provides replacements for most of the utilities you usually find in GNU fileutils, shellutils, etc. The utilities in BusyBox generally have fewer options than their full-featured GNU cousins; however, the options that are included provide the expected functionality and behave very much like their GNU counterparts. BusyBox provides a fairly complete environment for any small or embedded system.

REQUIREMENTS:
* Device with architecture arm, arm64, x86, x86_64
* Android 5 (API 21) or later

Hands down best busybox. More commands, ssl helper, always up to date. No BS ads or other junk. Customizable install directory. Option to install to a zip archive. Has sped up FX File explorer considerably when performing root tasks vs. FX's own internal busybox binary. I even prefer it to the binary that is included with Magisk and osmosis's binary, which is quite popular among root users. Used it on 7 phones so far without a single hitch.

I have always used this on other devices and (on android 9) It went fantastic to install but 1 problem (that i managed to fix) was that the app would give me a bunch of errors when installing but I changed in the settings that it downloads in /system/bin instead of /system/xbin, thanks

Doesn't install on rooted Galaxy Note8 running Lineageos 21 (Android 14)! Ditto when you change the install location. Apparently FS is RO snd it can't handle that. Unfortunately a total waste of time.
