PRESeNT is an application aimed at pregnant women and in the first postpartum year.
The application offers the user questionnaires on physical and psychological health and daily exercises of writing texts and audio production, for the collection of identifying traits of vulnerability to develop depression and for monitoring the state of general well-being. During the execution of the tasks, the data of the movement sensors of the phone, the texts and the audio produced are collected. The application can also record the GPS position with prior authorization.
The application is outlined within a study that aims to improve the mental health of pregnant women suffering from depression or at high risk of developing it and acting promptly with more appropriate treatments. The application is available for use only by authorized users.
