Ratings and reviews

Constantly has errors, trouble submitting assignments. I downloaded this app because my professor required it. It works sometimes but VERY often displays an error message when trying to open and/or submit an assignment. The only option is to repeatedly close and reopen the app and hope that it eventually works. I often have to wait hours to submit a very basic assignment. The ratings given to this app are telling and if it weren't required for my college course I would not use it.

Imagine Microsoft ME with half the registry erased. Easily the worst app I've ever used. After you login on the app, before you can do anything you have to login via your web browser (2x logins, nice). If you are connected through an institution, you have to fail the login so it'll send you to the special institution login page. So that's logging in 4 times only for it to still fail. I've had the app for 2 months and have never successfully used it. It's really just a dumpster fire of an app.

The app sounds useful, if you can log in. For some reason, the link from University of Maryland only works part of the time and puts you in a loop where you sign in through the school, navigate back to the voicethread link, and get told you have to sign in again. Their email sign-in link just freezes their app. Pretty poor infrastructure. I wouldn't pay money for it, and as a user you have to be prepared to work around it (e.g. email your voice files to your professor). Otherwise not bad.
