Direct Local is an app-based platform and B2C marketplace allowing consumers to purchase goods and services from local businesses in their own cities, based on the local area code (e.g. 212 for New York City, 323 for Los Angeles, 416 for Toronto, etc.). The app offers consumers both pickup and delivery straight to their door. Any business can sell their products or services through the app. Consumers can search for the products they want, sorted by travel time, as well as search by the name of a local business. Businesses are charged a 5% transaction fee, providing them with a convenient and cost-effective solution.
