- KT Mobile/KT MVNO (economical phone) customers
※ Any mobile user over the age of 14 can use it conveniently.
※ Foreigners who can verify their identity via mobile phone and corporate customers who have signed up for an identity verification service under their corporate name can also use it.
(However, mobile phone micropayments cannot be used for those under 19 years of age or under corporate name)

[Main features]
- Simple identity verification: Verify your mobile phone safely without worrying about smishing using the 6-digit PIN registered in PASS or your fingerprint.
- Mobile phone payment: You can check mobile phone payment details and use barcode payment.
- Driver's license mobile verification service: You can put your driver's license in your phone and register your actual driver's license information in PASS.
- Resident registration card mobile verification service: You can check the information contained in your resident registration card through PASS without a physical resident registration card.
- PASS certificate: A certificate that has acquired digital signature authentication business rights, making it safer and easier to use.
- Financial products: We provide information on a variety of financial products, including loans, cards, insurance, and deposit products.
- Loan comparison: You can easily compare the interest rates and limits of loan products that fit your conditions. (credit, home equity, car equity)



[Note]
- Available from Android OS 6.0 or higher. Fingerprint authentication may not be supported depending on the phone model.
- The service is not supported on pads/smartphone auxiliary devices/WiFi Only devices.
- When installing and running the app in a 3G/LTE environment, data call fees may be deducted or charged depending on your plan.
- When using overseas, data roaming fees may apply if the service is not in a WiFi environment.

[PASS access rights items and reasons for need]
1. Required access rights
#Telephone permission: PASS by kt collects phone numbers for user authentication when running the app, collection of app usage statistics, verification of customer location information and history management of mobile driver's license confirmation, and confirmation of customer information when calling the customer center to resolve customer inconvenience. /Send/Save.
#Storage space: Required for storing certificate signature files and information management, as well as for storing issued electronic receipts. (Obtained only for OS 12 and below)
2. Selective access rights
#Camera: Used for authentication with QR code and driver's license registration, driver's license/resident registration card facial authentication registration, ID verification, mobile wallet profile setting and certificate use, and pet care patella dislocation inspection.
#Location information: Used to confirm the location of the device when transmitting a driver's license confirmation.
#Notification: Required for push sending.
#Contact information: Used to enter the recipient's name and phone number when creating a mobile wallet certificate.

*PASS permissions can be changed in the phone's Settings Application Management PASS App Permissions menu.

Pathetic app experience. No English support. Doesn't allow screenshot so can't translate as well. App will just close if sim is not inserted in slot 1. If sim is in slot 1, but default calls and msg is set to sim2, app will still not work. Even after this, need to switch off and switch on the phone and enable mobile data initially for the app to login. After long trouble it might work, but even after that, trouble doesn't end due to no English support.

"휴댜폰정보를 확인할 수 없어 서비스 이용이 제한됩니다" Ok, discovered the reason. The app will fail to recognize the KT sim card if it is placed in the SIM2 slot and SIM1 slot is occupied with by another SIM card. Sorry but that's just retarded. From the programming perspective there's no limitation to check both sim slots. This is just sloppy programming from your developers.

안녕하세요. 고객님, PASS앱 입니다. 이용에 불편을 드려 죄송합니다. 해당 증상은 고객님 단말에 KT USIM 번호 등록이 정상적으로 되어 있지 않은 경우 발생됩니다. 우선 휴대폰 재부팅을 해주세요. 휴대폰 재부팅 후에도 동일 증상 발생 시 147359682* 를 눌러 OTA수신 해주세요. 상기 번호로 OTA 수신했음에도 동일 문제 시 kt 고객센터(kt+100)로 연락하셔서 상담원에게 OTA 재발송 처리 요청을 해주셔야 합니다. 혹시 그래도 동일한 현상이 발생하신다면, [ktauth@ktsmap.com]으로 메일 주시면 정확한 확인해 드리겠습니다! 감사합니다.
