Ratings and reviews

The game itself isn't bad. The combat is snappy and satisfying, the character design is nice, and the story shows some promise. However, the crashing and poor optimization are far too outrageous. There isn't any consistency in how or when the game crashes. It can be the only game on your phone, you can have good internet or bad, you can max out the settings or run them on the lowest. None of it really matters. Sometimes, you play for an hour. Other times, you struggle to get 2 minutes in.

So now that I've played a bit and whaled some characters I have to say I love Wuthering Waves. Yes, it's similar to Genshin but only in the base setup. So menu setup and stuff like that. Character design is impeccable more detailed than most games out there. Story is good and I'm sure will build as WW grows. Music is meh. It just doesn't have much soul to it which is a bummer because music is a great driver in games too. World design is beautiful. It's a game that deserves your attention!

Love this game and am excited to play in full once all the bugs are worked out. Minus one star because for me it is completely impossible to play on PC even with the lowest graphics and settings. I know the game is in its early stages, though, so I will be patient and wait for more updates till the lagging and overheating issues are solved. I'm excited to see what new characters I can pull for!
