I like that it's straightforward and only presents and tests you on one reading at a time (with the option of viewing all readings if you want). I have two requests for new features though. Often the character I write is essentially correct but it's unbalanced and ugly. I'd like to try again until it's perfect. An option to write the character again before moving on would be great. Secondly, a progress bar on each section header to keep track of what I've already completed would be helpful.

I like the simplicity and straight forwardness of this app compared to others, but it does have some issues. There are many times when the app will register my kanji writing as wrong, even though I swear I did the stroke order right. On the flipside, I've had completely botched strokes that the app still registered as correct. It makes practicing stroke order quite frustrating. Also, does the Review Frequency slider even work? Despite sliding it down completely, I still get frequent reviews.

Very effective. I've learned a lot of kanji reasonably quickly with this app. Some minor issues with a few characters getting marked wrong for no clear reason e.g. 青 and 変. Occasionally, the definitions are too similar so it's hard to distinguish them. Also shi vs ichi for 市. There's no way to distinguish which is being asked for when both are options at the same time. I wish that when one makes a mistake it would give a second chance rather than showing you the character immediately. Finished!
