The app was very useful until the big update a couple months ago, now a bunch of the lessons are completely bugged out and unable to be completed. I sent multiple bug reports via the in-app feedback form, but now it's been over a month with no fixes. It was good to learn how to write kanji, but now the vocab and grammar are just broken. I'll be using their other kanji app instead until this is resolved.

This app is otherwise a great way to learn Japanese, but there are a few things that frustrate me. Unlike your Kanji app, there is no 'custom review' button for hiragana and katakana, so if I want to review, I have to review EVERY character at once, which can be very tedious. As well as that, it is extremely finicky. Countless times, I have gotten a written character 'wrong' when I wrote the character correctly, stroke order, form and all, ruining my perfect score.

I like the straightforward design of the app and thought the teaching system worked well while still being simple. Unfortunately you do have to pay to get past the first 2 lessons, which I didn't see anything about before downloading the app. It's not expensive, but I'm personally hoping to get a little further in learning the language before committing money to the endeavor.
