Seconds is widely recognised as the best interval timer for HIIT & Tabata training for mobile devices and is recommended by celebrity trainers and personal trainers to their clients all around the globe.

BEFORE YOU DOWNLOAD:
Non-paying users may create as many timers as they wish, but once an interval timer is started it may not be used again. Upgrading to the full version removes this restriction.

FEATURES:

• Templates for HIIT, Tabata and circuit training. A custom template to create every interval. And the compound editor where you can combine many interval timers into one.

• Speaks your interval names so that you can follow a workout without seeing the screen at all. Seconds can even provide prior warning of the upcoming interval. Other alerts including beeps and bells are available.

• Coordinate your music with your Tabata workout. Each interval can have its own music assigned allowing you to match the intensity of your music to the intensity of your HIIT workout.

• Seconds runs in the background allowing you to either have your display off, or use other apps while the HIIT timer is active.

• Export and import. Share the Tabata timers with friends or download them from the web and install them in Seconds.

Ratings and reviews

I purchased the paid account even though a friend told me they got it for $5 and I had to purchase for $7. Why the price increase? As far as the design goes, this is the best timer app I've used. HOWEVER - The alternative sounds arent working. I only tried a couple, like the gong ones, but they don't make any sound. so far only the boxing bell actually makes the sound.

If you have an iPhone by all means buy this app. It works wonders for a fellow trainer! If you have an Android skip for now. There is an issue with Droids where it adds a fraction of a second for every interval. Which makes in inusable for the class I teach. At the end of what is usually a 25 minute class we had gone for nearly 32 minutes...

Pretty cool app. It can be used for other routines or activities as well, like a timer for brushing teeth, and the voice mode can even dictate the next task in the routine - so, yeah, pretty cool! Edit: It would be nice to be able to use the selected google assistant voice to speak the commands, but it only seems to let you use the default google voice. Also, how can I pull music playlists from Google's Play Music app, or other music players?
