This app is quite useful to find out if and where the moon should be visible at any given time and date, including information about azimuth, altitude, phase, moonrise and moonset, and culmination. This app would be even more useful if there were a possibility to search in the reverse direction, i.e. looking for times and dates that satisfy a set of conditions. Example: When can I see a full moon with an azimuth between 30° and 120° at an altitude of at least 30°? That would be outstanding.

Avoiding unnecessary bells and whistles, this app delivers. It lets you know, among other things, rising and setting times, position and aspect of the moon today or at some specific time. I use it to plan for moon photography.

This app is great and the source website is even better. The app is easy to use wherever you are, and the website gives even more information about any place on the planet you'd care to learn about. Super useful, especially for predicting moonrise. Made my girlfriend's whole week when we went out to see the Strawberry Moon last week
