Rec'n'Share allows you to record audio and video along with songs from your music library and then share your performances with the world.
It digitally enhances the way you practice, record and perform music.

Produce high-quality performance videos easily.
Connect a compatible Yamaha instrument to your smart phone/tablet (*1) to simultaneously record video from your phone’s camera, stereo digital audio from your Yamaha product and stereo backing tracks from your music library (*2) (*3).
After recording, use the app’s editing functions to trim and balance the tracks.

Enrich your practice.
Pick a song from your music library and the app’s tempo detection lets you add a click, change the tempo and select sections to repeat. It’s practice made perfect.
The Audio Track Separation function, available in Version 3, allows you to adjust the volume of specific tracks (vocals, drums, bass, etc.) of your favorite songs.
Enjoy practicing and recording more with your favorite songs in the background.

Downloaded it to record drum tracks after buying an EAD10. The app started off great, synced with my music, identified the instrument, played along with my music and was fine until I hit record. Immediately after attempting to play back the recorded song it crashes... every... single... time! C'mon Yamaha! You guys make amazing EVERYTHING but somehow this app has slipped through the cracks. Is it no longer supported? Updated? What? Please PLEASE fix this!

Recorded audio quality with my EAD 10 Drum Mic is terrible after the 2.0 update, and hasn't improved in either of the updates since then. Prior to then it was great for recording demos and making videos. Now the audio quality is so poor that it's unusable for either of those purposes. Hopefully this is fixed soon, as the primary functionality of the EAD 10 (~$500) is now non-existent due to poor software.

Everytime i try to record a video whether it's isolated drums or to a song, it comes out all static. You can still hear the song and drums but it has that static too. It was working fine last month when i filmed some stuff. I cant find any way to resolve it. Cables are all in good shape and well taken care of on the Ead10 module. I dont know if it is because of the update or what. Other than that it was a 5 star application. Hopefully it is just a bug that needs to be fixed on the app itself.
