Swimming in the lake, where you can swim and is clean and safe? This app has a list of more than 800 outdoor swimming spots in the Netherlands.

This bathing-app gives you information about the quality and safety of official outdoor swimming spots during the bathing season (May 1 to October 1). In this app, all data on water boards, provinces and Rijkswaterstaat in one place. So you always have the latest information. Through the bathing card or the easy search feature, you can immediately check the quality and safety of bathing water in your area. Moreover, you can immediately see what facilities are available at this location.

Disclaimer
During the bathing season the quality and safety of the water is controlled by official bathing spots. You can see in the app when the check is carried out and when the next check is. Based on these checks a message is delivered with a recommendation whether or not to go swimming. You may then decide whether you will or will not go swimming unless a ban was issued. If you do decide to go swimming despite a warning or advice against bathing take a greater risk of health problems. It is always wise to shower after swimming in the lake. Outside the bathing season, the bathing water is not examined.
