The Ignite TV app is included with your Ignite TV (formerly Shaw TV) service.

- Reliable WiFi or cellular internet connection for video streaming and downloading 
- Ignite TV subscription to one or more eligible channels to watch live or On Demand videos

update: customer service worked on my problem of WiFi compatibility and now it's working fine. If you are having issues it's worth communicating with them because they are listening. (which is rare nowadays) original review: Very frustating app when you think you will watch something and it doesn't work , which seems like a lot lately.

*EDIT: 6months later, and still a waste of time. Shite app. Cue the Bot reponse to reach out....... Poor casting. You try to watch a show off the app, when away from home, and project on to a 'Chromecast' and it freezes continously throughout the show. Its ridiculous. Trying to watch an old episode of an HBO classic tv series(take your pick) and it drags on with the freezing. Painful. Literally 8ft from the high speed modem.

App randomly stops working and can't consistently provide me access to live TV. Gives me an error code that doesn't help and for which there are no Google results (15126). The search is also comically bad and it's impossible to find upcoming times for sports events like curling, because it defaults to previous years' events instead of current ones.
