About this app

In December 2021, Clearblue® discontinued the supply of its Connected Ovulation Test in the UK. This means that the test has started to become unavailable in stores. The application will remain available until expiry date of your Connected Ovulation Test. You will still find information and frequently asked questions about this product on www.clearblue.com. Advice and support will also continue to be available through our Careline. Contact details can be found on www.clearblue.com, printed on the pack and in the leaflet.

This app can only be used as part of the Clearblue Connected Ovulation Test System.

Planning for a baby is probably one of the most exciting times in a couple’s life. You may have already tried a fertility app or thought about an ovulation test, or even used both! Now you can combine the convenience of an app with the accuracy of an ovulation test.

Setting up a Clearblue account is easy and once connected you’ll have your personal fertility information always available on your phone.

Clearblue Connected Ovulation Test System detects 2 key fertility hormones – estrogen and luteinising hormone – to typically identify 4 or more fertile days*. Knowing when your fertile days are is key when you’re trying for a baby.

Take one of the simple ovulation tests and see the result on your holder which syncs instantly to your phone. Symbols on the holder confirm Bluetooth® is on and also if you have data to upload.

Clearblue Connected offers more than just syncing results to your phone:

• Works out when you should start testing and gives you advice on when to stop testing during your cycle.
• Allows you to set smart personalised reminders so you won’t forget to test!
• A place to store details about your period and cycle length, and add when you had sex.
• Provides extra information about your test results and answers to frequently asked questions.
• Tracks your personal fertility information, including your results, on your monthly calendar.
• Compares your cycle history - a great way to share information with your doctor.
• Clearblue has a dedicated team of advisors for Careline support.

Overall I really love the app. I am able to use the original tester after 9 months. Thanks to this I was able to get pregnant however, this is why I gave three stars, the needs to be way to save pregnancies and miscarriages. I had to put my miscarriage as a period and it's messing up my testing. I really hope this feature gets added. Edit: Changing from 3 stars to 5 because after the miscarriage this helped us get pregnant within 2 cycles! I was able to use the same tester the whole time of TTC!

It worked fine last month, all of a sudden now it won't sync with my phone. It keeps saying " must have app to sync". Which makes no sense because the app is open on my phone. This is disappointing. I would feel better if I could input the information myself but that's not even an option. Which I feel they should make that an option exactly for this problem.

The sync function is such a major headache. FINALLY after over a month of attempted use with the sync, I ventured to turn off my wifi while syncing. It actually worked. Maybe the developers and or QA team can get some further testing and confirm if there's a potential conflict with wifi while syncing. Just a thought. Anyway, it finally synced and has all my results from over a month. Here's to hoping it continues to work.
