I love this game! If you are looking for an engaging, meditative puzzle app, this is a fantastic choice. The puzzles are challenging but still relaxing. And also rare these days - the ads are few and far between! If you get stuck on a particular level, you can always "buy " a hint at the cost of watching an ad - which is a great alternative to being subjected to them all the time. All in all, a great, simple in concept, but incredibly effective and engaging. Recommended!

This is a good game w/o ads unless you get free hints. But after getting to infinity level i paid to open all levels hoping I'd get more challenging puzzles more consistently. But I don't think I got anything for my 1.99 😒 Another reviewer mentioned the colors weren't distinct enough in a lot of the puzzles which is true and a serious draw back. I don't have vision issues and I found some colors difficult to differentiate. Overall it's good, but I wish it were more consistently difficult.

After playing "big brother" Aurorabound for several years, I'm disappointed with some of the gameplay in Aurora Hex. I miss being able to tap a piece and then tap where I want to relocate it. (Always have to drag it.) Also, I don't like the pieces "jumping" when they are rotated; detracts from the relaxing aspect of this game. With some tweaks, this is a 5-star game.
