Like many other reviews I read, I'm not happy about the fact that there is no way to get hints aside from buying them. The creator admits that there are advanced levels that require you to use a hint in order for you to solve them without having to spend hours upon hours trying to figure out where things go. When you say something like that, you can't hide hints behind a pay wall. At the very least, give one free hint per level. Just the one that even you say has to be used to solve the puzzle. Otherwise, it's not fair. In all other respects, a fine game. Beautiful graphics, understandable mechanics. Easy to get into.
As others have mentioned, the hints system is difficult, and it seems fair to earn a hint upon completing a level. Alternatively, I would be happy if the game had the option to back out of a world. Then people could work on a different puzzle and clear their head before going back to the problem one. Also as others have said, some of the more advanced levels the tiles are really small and the ability to zoom in would be super awesome.
Fantastic awesome game, but it needs a way to earn hints instead of emptying my bank account. Please also give a way of skipping a level and let us come back to it later.... Blood pressure is rising not being able to complete a level. Correct the hints issue and i will happily rate 5 stars
I love this game! My only remark or request to the authors would be to switch off auto-rotate as it's distracting and actually just makes the screen blink and moves around the settings button. There is hardly any in-game text, no "gravity" of any sort, and the tiles are completely neutral. Just stick to one fixed setting, or give the option to select one.
I love the concept and the tiles are beautiful. However, not only do you have to pay for hints, I can't use mine. I have 24 hints and the game will not let me use any of them. Secondly, the screen flipping in rotation all the time is annoying. There's no reason to have it as it doesn't matter if you play in profile or landscape. Next, the tiles slide out from the controls and replace others on accident. You end up messing up more of the puzzle trying to fix it. Plus the irritation of only being able to do one puzzle at once and not being able to zoom.
So here's the thing: this game is lovely and relaxing. The costly hint system is where I dock stars. You can't select a specific tile you want a hint for, it will randomly choose one for you. I have found this frequently means it rotates a tile where the rotation doesn't make a difference, wasting a hint. You can't earn hints, and there's no full version of the game to buy with endless hints. So because the hint system seems designed to be user unfriendly, I'm only giving this three stars.
