Used to work, but now is totally broken. Support acknowledged the problem and said it would be fixed with the next release, but that was almost a year ago. ... Update 4 years later (2024) the 2022 release is working now so bumping my rating up to 3 stars. It's still a very clunky app, and is only a lightweight accessory for logging expenses when you don't have access to your computer.

Was a Quicken user for years, and Moneydance is different, yes. But it's solid. So what if the mobile app doesn't offer all the functionality of the desktop, it blows Quicken away. Because it works. Simple, strong and functional. No more rebuilding days and weeks of lost info, loading issues, and regular sync issues. I love the professional review pages that say it's not as visually pleasing as Quicken. It's just fine. My personal financial data is also not on the web for access to all.

I'm a big fan of Moneydance and have been with them since 2015. Their desktop version allowed me to tell Intuit/Quicken "Goodbye" forever. I was excited to see that they had an app for my Chromebook which we use when traveling. After installation and syncing (which went flawlessly) I was disappointed that the Android app doesn't really do anything other than display data. I had hoped to be able to download my transactions as I traveled but seems that not yet available. I understand owing to space constraints that some (possible many) features will not be available on the Android version but it seems that downloading transactions shouldn't be one of those. A development plan/schedule for this app would be nice.
