About this app

A simple, secure, off-grid, mesh communications app powered by the open source MeshCore project.

To use this app, you must have a supported LoRa radio device, that has been flashed with the MeshCore Companion Firmware.

Once you've installed the app, you will need to:
- Pair with your MeshCore device using Bluetooth.
- Set a custom display name.
- and, Configure your LoRa radio settings.

That's it! You can now advertise yourself on the network using the signal icon, and send messages to other users you have discovered on the same frequency.

When other devices on the network have been discovered, they will show up in your contacts list.

For more information, please visit the MeshCore GitHub page.

App works great! Was able to connect right away and chat in public, discover other nodes, login to a repeater without issue. As a new user to mesh I appreciate the intuitive design to the app. I installed it on older phones and discovered that you may have to turn GPS on for it to connect to your device. Seems like the bad reviews are small nit picking issues not about the functionality of the app. Works great. Oh and if there's no one to connect to, be the person to get the word out.

I found Meshcore to be a much better experience overall than Meshtastic. Although one feature that I found useful in Meshtastic seems to be missing here on Meshcore, or maybe I'm being a bit dim in not finding it here. I dont seem to be able to use GPS tracking on Meshcore. even when I enable GPS in Position Settings, I am not tracked on the map. Am I missing something here? Other than that I love it! 👍🙂👍

Great job. Direct messaging nodes is not as reliable as creating a private thread and messaging through that with a node 5 miles away from we where we share the same repeater. It would be great to add the DB level in the route display. Wish I could have a wifi connection to esp32 nodes for the app to connect to.
