The app is decent, BUT the app is refusing to let me subscribe (it is neither a phone nor a Google PLAY issue - both have been checked!) ALL ways of contacting the app developers fail to work, even the one in the new Version 8.0.0 - let alone those listed on this page. As I was going to pay them money and they make it impossible to do so, I think that the developers are not delivering as they should.

They have restricted viewing to 2 free articles per week, and then you have to pay to read any more articles. it's just ridiculous given that most of the articles aren't even important news, and full of grammar mistakes, and taken from places like TikTok. It's such lazy reporting. I've seen the same article repeated, original from TikTok about a woman complaining about not being given a child's menu item, and the same article with just added comments. Why should I pay for this? App uninstalled.

Ten years after my first review, the app is tonnes better. However the quality of journalism since being taken over by Reach is shocking. Now just relying on shock headlines to pull people in. It used to be a newspaper that covered local news, not showbiz news. And where's the women's football coverage for Utd & City? Update Dec 2025 - and now they want you to pay for the bulk of the articles 😂
